The Leonard family, with Jeff and Patty in the lead, has been sharing their family farm and Agriculture story for 30+ years. What started as class trips for their daughter's pre-school class to an Agri-tainment venture that covers three seasons. Cows-N-Corn in Midland, Va has been connecting the community with their roots since 2001. Learning about everything from cows to corn. To add to the fun, the family worked with the Warrenton-Fauquier Jaycees to start a haunted hayride that morphed into Haunted Hollow at Warrenton in 2009. Maple Tree Farm, is home to a small herd of beef cattle and since 2017 3000+ Christmas trees. This was the inspiration to look at ways to share the farm as the family prepares for the first season of cut your own trees coming in 2022.The Haunted Hollow trail was converted to a ½ mile trial of lights and music for the 2019 Christmas season.
